Celebrating 200 Years
1825 - 2025
January 29, 2025
200-year anniversary of the incorporation of Vicksburg, Mississippi
Although the actual bicentennial date of the City of Vicksburg is January 29, 2025, we will celebrate this historic milestone starting with a 2024 kickoff and continuing well through 2025.
Our extended celebrations will be marked with five pillar events throughout 2025—from fairs to festivals to fireworks—something for everyone! There is much more to come, and we are excited to embark on this journey with residents and visitors alike.
