Bicentennial Time Capsule
October 17, 2025 at 12:30 pm at the Warren County Court House
Check out the contents of the time capsule buried in 1976 and listen to reflections from Mayor Willis Thompson and Vicksburg students. After the event, guests are invited to enjoy the ‘Sip Stroll at the Old Mississippi River Bridge from 1-6 p.m. The time capsule contents will be on display at the Old Court House Museum starting in November 2025 through the end of the year.
New Year’s Eve/Closing Celebration*

We are closing out Vicksburg Bicentennial year with a New Year’s Eve celebration that’s not to be missed including a drone show! We will reminisce on what’s hopefully a memorable year for all while looking to the future to recognize What’s Next.
